Quality Issue with Debut 9

I recently purchased Debut 9. I'm blending this with some other animation from Photoshop and editing in iMovie '11. The issue is that when I export the animation to iMovie, it displays rough compared to the imported PS files. All are set to 640 X 480. I have limited settings options when I export the animation – obviously a big difference between Debut and Pro. Looking for some help to figure out what's going on.
