Can you put photos onto charachter wizard?

Post by NealF »

I need to create a chorus line of famous people all doing the Rockettes kick.
I was wondering if there was a way to somehow use the bones from the character wizard and put photos of heads and suits on the ready-made ringings.

It seems to me that once you've gone through the character wizard, you have an editable character on the stage and have full access to do whatever you want. Go through the layers, and either hide or delete everything having to do with the head, put your image in place and re-bind the bone to the new image layer.

Great!

As you can probably tell, I'm a newbie. I was just looking for a reason to buy the latest version.
Thanks.

Just thought of a possible better way to do this.

If I created digital puppets, added the bones and animated the movements, is it possible to then copy or clone just the bones and key frames and put other cut up photos on that? If that would work I could then easily created the whole chorus line of different people and bodies and not have to re-bone and animate.

If you create one character and animate it and then duplicate it and change the images, the character will have the same animation.

The only issue with this is that if you have to change the animation after all the characters are duplicated and changed, you will have to change the animation on all of the characters.

I know you are new user but you could try using my bone animation save and load scripts.

save-and-load-bone-animation-menu-scripts

This would allow you to save the bone key frame animation to a text file and load it into other characters with the exact same bone set up.

Sounds good. I think I'll be buying the upgrade and trying your script. That sounds like exactly what I need.

Thanks.
