is there a layer transform tool mod for directly selecting and transforming any shapes from the canvas no matter what layer they are on?(if it then also switches layers to the recent shape selected or not i dont mind)
kind of like in flush so to say as i cant really do rigid layer based cutout without this fluently

Not an answer to your question, but are you aware of the 'alt+right click' shortcut? If you click that way on anything on your canvas you can immediately use your transform tool
