Re: can i use Papagayo with other languages
download the source code from the papagayo site (bottom of that page), and take a look at the readme in that download package. That will explain the process of adding a language.
and/or you might choose to add a pronunciation dictionary for your words as per the example from the lumenvox link for example (assuming Swahili, but of course that might not be the language you want): HABARI HH AE B AE R IH
this would work well except for phonemes that are not used in "European" based languages where you'd need to make the best choice from the CMU set of 39. In practice this shouldn't be a big issue as these are mapped to the (9+rest) PB mouth set... unless those shapes are not appropriate for the language used.
Good luck!!

Re: can i use Papagayo with other languages
I am trying to use Papagayo in Spanish. The button to select languages does not work. There is no "readme file" in the Papagayo software download with instructions, no users' manuals and no reference to it in the tutorials.
Where can I find instructions on how to install other languages (Spanish)? Can I create my own phonemes? How?

Re: can i use Papagayo with other languages
I *think* you'll need to use 1.2; version 2.0b1 is a beta release.
Re: can i use Papagayo with other languages
Yes, versión 1.2 works fine in Spanish. New versión 2.0 does not work in Spanish. Problem solved. Thank you.
