Epic Luigi

This is just a small project I've been working on alongside WhiteLand.

Since Nintendo's "Year of Luigi" is coming to an end, I thought I could make a Luigi animation...

I like the vacuum used to capture the ghost. Reminds my of a N64 game when Luigi goes into the haunted mansion with a vacuum cleaner.

I noticed that your video is well versed in 3d environments. Are there any tutorials available on how to produce 3d environments?

The 3D environments in this animation are really simple. The 3D building, for example, is just a flat "wall" vector layer rotated 90 degrees on the x axis. When the camera moves about the rotated vector layer, the parallax becomes apparent.

I could have made a more-detailed 3D building by taking two flat "wall" vector layers and rotating them so that the sides of each wall connected. You can see this implemented in Anime Studio Tutor's video:
