It's BLACK BELT CARLTON ( VS ) mean and nasty NINJA KAT BEAST, I'm planning on using these Ninja kat Beasts I designed for another animation so I wanted to test them out for now to see how they look with movement,
Programs used were anime studio pro 8, photoshop , and power director 8 software,
Special thanks to CARLTON and his family for contributing to this animation and also my Son, Chris( JUNE JISSLE ) for creating the music track for this production. Also want to thank Soundbible.com for the punch FX sounds.

Nice one! You have a lot of really great poses with the Ninja Kat Beast character, too. Especially considering it is basically a silhouette, it's impressive that you can get his poses to read so clearly.

Thanks lwaxana, for checking out my work... I created the ninja kat beast by hand drawing and then scanning into Photoshop, where I digitaly color image and cut the character up in layers for arms legs, etc. after that I add bones to each layer. I originaly drew them in multiple poses back before I had an animation program and would stop-motion each image in a video editing program. With a full time demanding day job and life, It's really hard to create productions the way I really want to do. Thanks for the positive comments too... it really brightened up my stressful daylwaxana wrote:Nice one! You have a lot of really great poses with the Ninja Kat Beast character, too. This was really great! Very "cartoonish" style to the fights that I just flat out loved watching. The opening "Presents" was a neat effect too, what application did you use for that?

Thanks a bunch, Danimal, for checking out my work and leaving cool comments. The opening "Presents " intro was created by my son using Final cut Pro software. Animating Cars, aliens, creatures and critters is my specialty and interest. rarely will I animate people but the face in this animation is a friend of mines Son who is a black belt so I did it for them. I love the old martial arts movies and the martial arts itself so in the future will be using that genre but in critter and creature form. lately I've Been experimenting with using photos edited in adobe photoshop mixed with anime studio. it gives me the opportunity to incorporate collaborations using other people's artwork, real cars and faces in the mix. I was going to add lipsync but due to my day job's demanding work scedule, I had to cut back and be realistic. but in 2014 will be incorporating more lipsynced alien and critter characters, have you used ASp pro 9 and what's different than the ASP Pro 8 that i'm using now?

I have 9.5, but prior to that I had 7.2 so I don't know what all was in version 8. Sorry about that.mrchris1234 wrote:have you used ASp pro 9 and what's different than the ASP Pro 8 that i'm using now?

Re: Black Belt Carlton ( VS) Ninja Kat Beast
from what you've found so far using 9.5 would you recommend getting 9.5.? I hear it does a lot of the head rotations for you automaticly and also does 3DDanimal wrote:I have 9.5, but prior to that I had 7.2 so I don't know what all was in version 8. Re: Black Belt Carlton ( VS) Ninja Kat Beast
The first version I had (5.5) did a sort of 3D as it had Z axis positioning as well as rotating on the three axes. There are Smart Bones, which can be used to automate complex movements, but there's no "automatic head turn" or anything like that. Seeing as how head turns almost invariable look horrible when not done using simple switch layers, I wouldn't use such a feature anyway. It does have auto-lip sync, but I haven't tried it yet.
It's definitely got more than the previous version, most of its new features are ones I don't use anyway. You could always check all the new features at http://anime.smithmicro.com/
