masking problem

Post by voozel »

hey guys...i uploaded a photo so you can see what's bothering me
when i made the eyes masking as many tutorial says i still get that thin annoying yellow edge that is visible throw the eye lids as you can see in #1
and when i don't mask the lids layer..i don't get the yellow line but it doesn't blend with the rest of the character and its gonna be hard to control through the whole animation #2
i even tried desperately randomizing the eyes masking layers lol but nothing work
please don't post a general masking tutorial cause I've seen them all
so if anyone can help ...please do :)

try checking the "expand mask by a pixel" box in the (what I assume is) the eye layer that you "add to mask"; or maybe remove the (yellow) stroke from the eyes shapes that are in the mask? But - yeah - I think it's a bug in AS and the "expand" option is a quick and dirty "nearly fix" that comes with its own consequences..
