Masking eyes and mouth with head turn

Masking eyes and mouth with head turn

Could someone please tell me what the mask settings are for the Bone layer, head layer and eyes and mouth group layers. When i move the eyes and mouth out pass the head when trying to make a head turn the eyes and mouth are still showing up in the render. I would greatly appreciate it!


I've read several of the topics on masking but i still can't seem to comprehend the concept on creating a character with proper masking.

I still have problems with this too. It definitely has something to do with masking within groups and subgroups. I still have issues with this as I always use masking for eyes and mouths but then when trying to mask the these groups with a head layer, this always happens. I think I've gotten this to work before and I know you said it's showing up in the render but it seems to me that when I did get this to kind of working the canvas and work area didn't display the image as it would in a actual final render. Can you post another screen capture with an actual rendered frame? I need to figure this out anyway but if you need a kind of work around you can check out this simple face rig I made. Let me know if this works or helps!
