So, my target bones have--OMG! LOOK OUT!

Post by ddrake »

So, unfortunately my target bones weren't cooperating tonight for much more than just keeping a foot stuck to the ground, so after a while of fighting it, I just gave up and made this instead.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I swear I had them working better for me before with the same rig. I guess I wasn't attempting to do too much, or anything specific enough with earlier testing... Now? So many twitches and pops and seemingly incomprehensible inconsistencies, it's enough to make your head spin. (and not in that pleasant partial smartbone head-turn kind of way I'm most comfortable with. )

Very much looking forward to seeing some more of heyvern's testing with this.

Just about to call it a night after working on 4 scenes that I ended up completely scrapping, and saw your post, I'm sure the details of what you want and what's rendering is driving you nuts, but from a viewer stand point it looks pretty good. Not that you needed more work, but....if you made his side-burns/hair move a bit too with a little bit of the rest of his hair shape, (just my opinion) I think it would give him some really great depth.

Just in case you had nothing better to do.

The acting in this is incredible. Very good movements and expressions all around.
