This may be sort of a newbie question,
How do I draw a line, just a line without closing a shape?
I would normally make a shape, uncheck fill and delete unwanted edges but I saw in some templates that some lines were built without resorting to full shapes. How does that work?
Thanks a lot

You can use the freehand tool and just not have it auto close or auto fill, though I'm sure there's other ways as well.

Re: drawing a line without closing a shape
or the add point tool (shortcut A) then create shape (shortcut U)

Ok I got it. It was actually well explained in the manual.
Select points, press U, then space bar
Thanks anyway.
