They sent this notice around to our school if anyone is interested.

What is the Animation Show anyway?

The Animation Show promises to put animated short films into more theaters than any other animation festival in American history. We aim to finally give these filmmakers the wide exposure their work deserves and to share these short masterpieces on the big screen, where they belong.

Can I submit a film to the Animation Show? Yes you can!

FILM SUBMISSIONS
The Animation Show welcomes animated short film submissions year-round, of all shapes and sizes: student or professional, we'd love to consider your work for the big show. To submit a film, please send us a copy of it on VHS (NTSC, PAL, or SECAM format) or DVD (NTSC only please) to our main office address below. Please be sure to include your complete contact information with your film, and if sending it on video tape please do not use a fiber-filled envelope (this kind of envelope's little fibers can actually work its way into the cassette and cause damage!). We promise to get back to you as soon as possible whether it's with good or bad news, but please be patient as we can get swamped. Sorry, we cannot return submitted materials so be sure not to send us your only copy. Alternately, if your film is viewable somewhere online be sure to let us know and we'll go check it out!

i like companies like this. I don't think my stuff if quite cut out to be up there with those guys.. they've all made, like, really, hardcore shorts. I guess guys like alanthebox, david firth and adam phillips would be worthy of this

Well, if you got your stuff online, it never hurts to invite them to check it out... who knows?
