conflict on 4:3 screen

Not a bug, but conflict on 4:3 screen.
Perhaps put Beginner's Mode - Character Wizard - Library in menu

Try increasing your monitors resolution.

I use 1280x1024 native resolution.
But yes, you're right : monitor supports higher resolution ... but scrolling with mouse is required.

Same problem here. I am working with a MacBook with 1280 x 800 pixel.
At the moment you can't ignore that! Most of the laptops at the moment using this solution or similar. The age of the high resolution displays has just begun and only few people in this world have upgraded to new hardware yet.

Yes - this is driving me crazy! My resolution is the highest available for the monitor - using on a laptop right now(1366x768).

I guess the solution is an external monitor? I wish there was a way to just disable and remove the beginner mode option.

Found a work-around: Undock the program window, then click and pull the right vertical frame to resize larger. That will move the icons so you can use them.
