add a url into a swf

Post by thierry13 »

Hi,

I know that the main purpose of moho is not to create flash animation but is it possible to add a field to enter an url that will be integrated in the flash animation?
This will give the possibility if you click on the animation to open a new window with the requested url?

It will be VERY useful, because when you create an advertisement in flash, you expect people to click into it.

regards

Not totally sure what you mean here. I'm assuming you are importing your Moho .swf animation into Flash. Flash has had the ability to incorporate hot links for a lomg time, but Moho is not that sort of program. If you mean that a user could click anywhere in the animation, and that would act as a hot link, that is trivially easy in Flash. You just need to make an invisible button the size of the animation, place it on a layer above the animation, et voila!

If you mean that you want a small part of your Moho file to act as a hot link, that is a lot more work if it is moving around!

I don't want to import my moho swf into flash, I even don't have it.
I would like that if a user click anywhere inside the animation, it opened up a new window with a specific url, this is what you call a hot link.

So i would like this 'simple' feature added to the swf export animation window...

You can't do that in Moho.

Correct, but that's why thierry13 is asking for it to be added as a new feature.
