Hi,
I've been playing around with getting hair to bounce naturally while my character walks and I've encountered an interesting issue :
I have the following setup :
-Bone layer
--Vector Layer for the hair (VL1)
--Group Layer for the head
---Vector Layer for the hair (VL2)
So I have a bone layer. Inside the bone layer I have a group layer for my head and inside that group layer I have a vector layer for my hair. I noticed that I cannot bind points from VL2 to the bones ... the menu just isn't there. As a test I duplicated the hair layer and placed it directly under the bone layer (= VL1). I noticed that in VL1 I can perfectly bind the points to the bones.
Is that expected behavior or am I doing something wrong ?
Please advise,
-Kim.
How do I bind points inside group layer ?

Click on your group layer and make sure that it's not bound to a bone. Then go inside the group layer and bind the vectors within it individually.

Great advise !
You were correct ! The group layer was bound to the bone ... I didn't find a way to "unbind" it until I went through the menu items (bone > release layer)... sure enough after that I was able to bind the vectors within it !
Thanks for the advise ^_^
