Can you set file

Post by happyowl »

Im trying to tune my workflow and one thing that bugging me is that after I export an animation to png files ('File, Export Animation...') I have to rename them all to meet coder needs of sequential file name suffix (e.g. 1, 2, .. 99. NOT Anime Studio default of 001, 002 ... 099).

I can speed this up a little using Adobe Bridge but it still leaves a few needing manual renaming.

Is there any way to change the export filename format from Anime Studio?

Cheers

AS doesn't offer the ability to use your own naming scheme. Usually I'm fine with it, but when I need it I use Renamer4Mac, a little utility which batch-changes the names of heaps of files. There's similar stuff available for windows. Look for "file name changer".

TY slowtiger

Was hoping avoid more software in the toolchain but if required that's a useful tip I will check that one out, i think i may have used it many moons ago.
