IK stops working

Hey guys,

I have a leg that all of a sudden the IK stopped working. The lower leg seems to move in the opposite direction as the target heel and the upper leg doesn't move at all. Any ideas?

You move the bottom of the bone pair. If they are in a straight line the IK will seem random. You need to 'kink' the second bone of the pair. That will set the direction of the bending. A 1/2 degree in the right direction on frame zero will help.
There is another way to set the bone child to parent IK, and I don't remember it.
