Boom Goes Julian
Hello to you all. I used Clip Studio Paint to create quite a lot of the character and background art in this music video.
Re: Boom Goes Julian
Nice video. But Assange? If he's such a hero, why do I feel so uneasy whenever I hear him speak? Or see him evading the due process of law? If he's so up front, why is he hiding? Seems he wants to throw a spotlight on everybody except himself.
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?
Re: Boom Goes Julian
Thank you... jahnocli, the reason that Assange is in hiding, is probably because he fears that he will not be treated to the proper, due process of the law.

It's a theory.Durand wrote:Thank you... jahnocli, the reason that Assange is in hiding, is probably because he fears that he will not be treated to the proper, due process of the law.

Hey Durand.
Did you write/perform the song as well?
Cheers

Good stuff Durand.
I much preferred it with the sound off, but hey. That's just me.
I also would have liked it a lot more if those bright text objects where more sympathetically coloured.
All the rest was tasteful and watchable but a few of those 'supered' elements clashed badly with the colour scheme.
Still it was certainly admirable, I love to see full pieces and not just another , 'hey I made it wiggle' videos that we get so much of here.
Keep ém coming cobber.

Re: Boom Goes Julian
Thank you chucky and patricia. Chucky, yes, I agree that a lot of the colour schemes that I used clashed. I wish I had made better selections. When I was making this, somewhere in my mind was this idea of a psychedelic colour scheme where anything goes..right?..Wrong. Maybe it has more to do with colour tonal harmony? I am not sure, but I should have restrained myself a lot more.
Re: Boom Goes Julian
Well, having heard that , I'm looking forward even more to the next piece Durand.
Sometimes hindsight can set us up for much better decisions in the future.
I still haven't got the knack though... I'm more the 'keep making the same mistake, it'll eventually work' kind of a guy.
So, back to winding my clocks back which will work eventually, cos' I'm going back in time to make the same decisions correctly, 'next time'.
