Batch change paths to external files?

I need to change the paths in all my files for a project. Had to move it to an external drive as it grew too large.

I have done this before when the .moho format was plain text. Then it was a simple batch search and replace.

Can it be done now that the format is locked down and scrambled? Change paths through scripting? Can we batch process moho files in scripts?
