Hi,
Another thing I'm having difficulty with.
Sorry if this is explained elsewhere, I have searched but could not find anything that helped.
I have exported my movies in MOHO as 1024x576 (PAL- 16:9).
I import them into Adobe Premiere to make the final cut, create a new project using DV - Pal, Widescreen (48khz)..... and the resolution is 720x576.
My understanding that this is the 'widescreen' resolution for TV, but when I watch my animation on a TV, it is not widescreen at all. There's nothing 'wide' about 720x576.. it just looks like a box on the TV.
When watching my movie on the computer at 1024x576, THAT is widescreen. How do I get this effect when I burn it to DVD??? It's driving me insane.
Thanks.
Widescreen export + Adobe Premiere

Easy solution to this one. In premiere in the clips bin, right click on the clip and you'll see an interpret footage option - select square pixels and everything will be hunky dorey - the clip will fill the widescreen as it should.
740*576 widescreen has a pixel which is not square - its 1:1.422. ie, optically compressed.
