Is it possible for me to upgrade my Anime Studio 10 license to a Moho 13 license?

I don't completely know where to put this.
I've had Anime Studio 10 for a while, but just now it said that my license ran out of activations, when I was on the computer I already had it activated on for years. I also just set it to permanent activation, not knowing what that did, and the PGPortal site doesn't really seem to have a whole lot of warnings or information about it!
So I'm thinking of upgrading to Moho 13, but since I already have an Anime Studio 10 license, is there any way I can upgrade my license to the new software? Or is it too old, and I have to buy a completely new Moho license?

You need to download the 'final' ASP 10 installer from here, under the Anime Studio list...

Assuming you have a registered license, you can activate this version without dependence on SM's server.

As for upgrading from ASP 10 to Moho 13, I don't think the new company has announced a policy for upgrading from really old versions. Try contacting Lost Marble directly.

Thanks, taking a look. Though I forgot to mention I actually have Anime Studio Debut 10. And I set my license to permanent activation yesterday, not knowing what that did.

The Debut 10 installer is at that link too. If I remember correctly, the permanent activation might also lock it to one computer.

Yeah, I believe that's what the Permanent option does. It removes server license dependency but it also node locks it to one computer so it can't be activated on another computer--there should have been a warning about using it. I think it's meant for computers at facilities that aren't normally connected to the internet. I'm not sure that can be undone, but contact Lost Marble to be sure.

Well downloading ASD10 from that link worked! I don't need to upgrade or get a new license after all! Thanks to your help, I just saved 60 bucks!

Glad to hear that!

If you decide to upgrade to Moho 13, it will be better to wait till Moho 13.5 comes out.
