Some Vector Layers Are Not Readering *Only* When Bones are adjusted

Post by Phazor »

I looked online for help but I didn't see anyone who had the same problem I'm having, so to save time, the issue is not the typical low opacity or visibility unchecked issue.

The specific problem I'm having is that all of my layers are visible until I move any bone. It doesn't matter which bone I move, but when I move any bone, some of my layers turn invisible and they also do not render. They temporarily turn invisible until I release the bone I'm moving, then they reappear.

I did not have that issue with Moho Pro 13, but I have this problem with Moho Pro 13.5 (and also Moho Pro 12).

Opacity is at 100%, visibility is checked in the layers and also layer settings, and I have the stage area Display Quality set to "High".

Does anyone have a solution to this problem?...

Try disabling GPU acceleration in the display quality settings.

Fantastic! It Work-eth!

I guess it makes your GPU run faster by removing some of the objects it's animating.

Extra info: I normally keep GPU Acceleration disabled so I can view masked layers properly. (Or, more properly anyways.)

There are some situations where you may need to turn it back on, but usually off works for me.

I think the main thing GPU acceleration does is it rasterizes the vector art so the GPU can display it faster. Also, I think it makes Moho faster when your project mostly uses bitmap images.

But, as mentioned, GPU Acceleration can display masking incorrectly. I use masking a lot, so, for me, disabling this option is preferred, and I don't normally see much of a slow down when I disable it. (Of course, your mileage may vary depending on your CPU and GPU specs.)
