Am I doing something wrong here?
I've just upgraded to 13.5.3 - I've loved 13.5.2 except for the odd crashing thing, which was dealt with by undocking the 'Styles' window. Now that I'm using 13.5.3, it crashes whenever I copy or cut any vector layer on Frame 0. It goes without saying that I do this a lot, and the program crashes every single time. I'm almost convinced I'm doing something weird, but I can't begin to guess.
Here's a quick screenshot of what happens. Reload the program, reload the autosaved file, rename it, choose the vector layer to copy - bang. Gone.
Update: I've pulled the video temporarily, but I've also noted (after a morning of experiments) that this thing only occurred when editing that specific vector art within that specific layer. Even importing the file from different scene files (which is the same ship, really) the issue would duplicate without fail. So I'm suspecting that, as suggested, the problem is the file, not the program. I've recreated the art in a new layer, and no problems.
Update Again: Different vector layer, different file. Went to add a point - crash. Gone. And this time, AutoSave did not save it. Maybe it's getting exhausted, perhaps? Anyway, about two hours of work, wiped out.
I'm too discouraged to do anything more tonight.

Any ideas?

Try importing the layer into a new file, as the file could have become corrupted.

Re: 13.5.3 (again) crashing A LOT
I recomend you to try disabling the autosave feature, that is causing crashes. Read more about it here: viewtopic.php?p=204077#p204077rikberryere wrote: ↑Sun Apr 17, 2022 2:34 am

Make a backup of the offending file, change the extension to zip and open it.
Open the project file inside with a text editor.
If you find a parameter with extreme values in it that you can see at a glance, remove the shape or layer with that parameter set with moho.
I have been asked several times about crashes and have seen moho or scripts set point values far out.

Re: 13.5.3 (not) crashing
Since the issue seemed to be occurring with specific vector files, I deleted them and replaced them with new layers created from scratch. No more problems.
Thanks all, for the info and suggestions; I'm certain this was a problem with the file, not there software, as it's been solid with everything else. This is a great community!
