Does anyone know if it's possible to snap keyframes in the motion graph? For instance, if I have 2 keys, and I want to adjust one of the keys to match the translate Y of the other key. In maya, you can snap the key in one direction to match another key with shift, middle mouse drag.
Or at least, how do you find the values in x and y of a key in order to type it in manually on the other key to get the same values? Right now, I'm having to eyeball it. I can't find the numerical values of anything I'm keyframing, which makes it hard to be accurate, with, let's say keeping feet on the floor.

Select ONE of the points in the drawing (assuming point motion here for the moment). In motion graph: you'll see a mauve line and the "selected point channel" icon also in mauve. Double click that icon. That will give you the x (red) and y (green) channels for the selected point. Activate the Draw / Transform Points tool - and that will give you the x/y numbers. Copy the y coordinate.
Select the "other point" (this can be done with care using the transform tool, but you might nudge the point - so better to use the select point tool). Now with the transform point tool active, you have the x/y coords and you can paste the copied y value into the other point's box.

I'm actually not animating points, I'm animating bones. I have figured out how to copy and paste a keyframe to another frame, but I can't figure out how to just do 1 channel. For instance, I just want to copy translate Y and leave translate X alone. How do I do that?

ok, I see it now. You can choose "separate dimensions" in the motion graph for the translations.

yeah -- that's the "double click" on the selected channel icon .. Just change the words to do with "point" to be as relevant for "bone" and my earlier reply, and that should do the job (as you've discovered!)
