So this video is part of a series that is a fun hobby of mine, but about 70-ish shots all take place in the same room. I decided to try my hand at making a room interior in Blender 3.3 and just repositioning the camera and focal point as-needed for each background, instead of drawing a new background every time a new viewing angle was used. I learned a lot in the process, though, like how to move the camera and deform objects in Blender. I imported the background sequences into Moho and masked-off a replica to place parts of the 3D space into the foreground.
It's clunky in spots, and there's definitely valid criticism of using mixed media sources in animation, but I learned a lot in the process that I can use to streamline this process further down the line.
