Hi,
Three things are high on my wish list:
1 - I wish I could do multi layered actions. I'll explain:
I want to make a 'walking down the stairs'-action for my character. However, my character is multi layered. Legs are on a different bones layer from the arms. The head is on yet another layer (a switch layer). Because of that I can't make this action.
Most of my characters are multi layered. This keeps the timeline tidy during animating. Try and find the right keyframe for the right bone when everything is on the same layer!
2 - It would be nice if each bone could have it's own color and the corresponding keyframe have the same color. If you see a green keyframe in the timeline you'd instantly know it's the pelvis bone. And the green keyframe would be the finger bone. It would then be nice if one could swich the different color-layers of keyframes on and off. So if you'd only want to animate the hands, you'd hide all other bones in the timeline. And maybe also hide them in the main view.
3 - I wish I could copy and paste bones from one layer to the other.
That's it. Thanks again for a fantastic program!
Kind regards,
Erik

excuse me: it works already
It seems animating an action with a multi layerd character DOES work already!
Although I can't swich between layers straight away: first I have to return to the base layer (the top layer) and then I choose a different child layer. If I jump from one child layer to the other I snap out of my action animation.
Also 'undo' causes problems during animation of an action. Should I post this on the bugs report forum..?
Kind regards,
Erik x
