Push Frames Left/Right – Push EVERYTHING

Post by JoelMayer »

Alright another timeline adjustment:

I was really excited when seeing the new Push Keys Left/Right Button on the timeline until i realized it AGAIN doesn't push anything past Bone keyframes unless i have it all on exposed on the timeline. I'd like it to push every last layer that has animation on it: Switches, Vectors, Effects, Layer Orders, etc.

Basically what the good ol' AE KeyTool does. Maybe you can have a little dropdown like with the onion skin to set up WHAT you'd like to push but for quick retiming it's kinda obvious i would want to move the whole thing.

Thank you!

Yes, I think we need at least three modes: everything, selected including children, and timeline visible (the one we have). The one we have is not very useful without another missing feature: enable timeline visibility of animated layers (whithout counting frame 1).

Key modifiers like Alt + click, shift + click, etc would be a good option for the buttons, if that can be explained by mouse hovering hints. Or the unused right click could open a dropdown menu on buttons with multiple modes.

Wow, I strongly support this! This tool is very useful for animation and it would be useful to have it as a window and with these options mentioned above.
