Moho crashes each time I edit a smartbone

Hi all,

I've been having trouble updating a character rig. I've added additional hand poses for the hand switch layer, but whenever I double-click the smart bone for the hand switch, Moho crashes.

I've deleted all keyframes and sub-keyframes, but it still does not help. Any suggestion what must I do? I am using version 14.2

I haven't heard about a bug like that.
I would start by disabling all my scripts (you can just temporarily move them to a different folder) to check if the problem continues. And if that's not it, I would make a copy of the project and start deleting things until I find some element (maybe a point, a shape, a bone, a layer...) that seems to affect the results you are getting.

Perhaps you have negative keyframes? If you haven't already done this, try running Synthsin's Remove Negative Keyframes script and see if it helps.

Another thing to try is to strip down a copy of your scene and then import only the relevant bits to a new scene. This might help 'clean up' any errors that may be present in the setup. If this works, import the rest of your project to this new project and save the file as your new main project.

Something similar happened to me. In the end it was all because of a target bone.

Save a copy of the original file and try deleting bone by bone and see if the same thing happens to you again.

It could also be that you have many empty actions that have not been deleted. Try this script:

If you use scripts sometimes there may be a bug.
