I think this is possible, because of other scripts I've seen, but I'm not sure... Could someone write a script where if you select a bone layer, all child bone layers--that are visible-- are also visible and manipulatable? I figure that could be a solution to make the idea of vitruvian bones more simple. So say you have a switch layer with a bunch of hands in it, and you want to rig some hands and not others, then just convert some hands to bone layers and rig them, and when you switch to them in the switch layer, the bones for the selected hands become visible. The main pivot could just be the layer origin itself!
Anyone able to do this? I might try myself, but as much as I try to learn, coding always seems to break my brain.
