Moho + Sound File + Rendering to .SWF = Silent film?

Post by Silas »

This is something I'm having a little trouble with. So I put a .wav file as the sound file in a Moho project and render it to flash... and there's no sound. (Oh no!) I recalled somebody telling me to change the .wav file to a .mp3, so I did. And after doing that, Windows media player (and iTunes) couldn't even recognize the file. So I change it back to .wav, and have the same problem. What file type should I use for it to work if I render it to .swf?
My real name is Colin, but the first cartoon character I ever made was names Silus, which is a variated spelling of Silas.

The file must be in MP3 format if you want to export the sound to SWF. However, changing the file's name from "file.wav" to "file.mp3" doesn't change the actual format of the file. You need to use an audio editing program like Audacity to convert the file to MP3.

Here's some more info about using MP3 files with Moho:
