Hi experienced animators, i need your help! - I'm bringing in a 3d model I created in another program but I would like to add onto this character within moho. How do I go about adding color, texture or just add additional features to my character? Thanks for your assistance.

How do i attach 2d features to a 3d model in moho?

Unless someone knows something I don't, you can't do this. Textures have to be applied to an .obj file in the parent program, then "baked" on. This usually takes the form of a .mtl file which accompanies the .obj file.
If someone HAS discovered a way of doing this, I'd love to know!

You can't have everything. Where would you put it?
Lost Marble posted an example some time ago, where you could add 2D features as separate layers. Because you can position 2D layers in 3D space, and group e.g. the 3D head with the 2D facial features, you can animate the group together.
There is an example movie here.
However, you may possibly need to break your 3D character up into separate pieces before importing for all this to work properly. Note also that although you can rotate groups in 3D, bones only move in 2D.
Lost Marble also showed it is also possible to do the same with purely 2D layers placed appropriately in 3D space - example movie here and example .moho file here.
Barry Baker put this technique to good use - see this thread for the discussion.
