The Render option SHOULD appear under the Preview option
eg.
File
New
Open
Close
-------------------
Save
Save As...
-------------------
Project Settings...
-------------------
Inport
-------------------
Preview
Render
Export Animation...
Batch Export
----------------------
Quit
Hmm, yes, this is because the Render command is not available in the standard version. You can get the same result using the File->Export Animation command. The difference is that Render shows you just the current frame in a window, while Export Animation exports the whole animation (or you can specify a subset of frames) to a movie file.
Sorry - apparently we missed those references to Render in the manual.
Thanks for the assist. The documentation is pretty vague as to what version can do what, for example the particle system can only be accessed through the pro-versio. Maybe it's something you can look into as dissapointment in the lack of such features mentioned in the manual can lead to complaint. Not from me though I'm a little smarter than that :p
Anyways I am so pleaeed with this version I am upgrading as soon as my grant comes in. I want to make the best of all the features I can get from this nifty package.
