Looking for OS X Moho 5.4

Post by ZeekNyne »

I am currently running OSX 10.2.8 and I am looking for Moho 5.4 for OSX. I have been unable to find it at any download sites as they only seem to link to a download from lostmarble that is no longer there. I can not run Anime Studio because of my current system so if some one could post a link for a workable download of Mac Moho 5.4 preferably the compressed file moho_macos_5.1.1.zip, I would be most grateful. :D

Thank You.

Well... you won't find it... legally....

On top of that Moho 5.4 only runs on Tiger anyway as far as I recall, even if you could get it.

:(

I am still using 5.3 on my 10.3.9 system. This would be the last version that would run on "non-tiger" OSX as far as I know.

I got a free upgrade to ASP as a prior owner of Moho and chose to go with the windows version.

I went with PC version because I assumed AS would run only on Tiger.

You may want to check with efrontier. I seem to recall that possibly the OSX version of the current AS will run on your system... I'm guessing... I have no idea really. I never bothered to check the system requirements. I plan to purchase a second copy for mac once I upgrade to Tiger.

Do you own AS and can't run it? Or are you just looking for the free demo to try it out?

Got it as a birthday present. :D

I am pretty sure Moho 5.3 will run on my system but I can not find a Download of it for the Mac any where. If some one could post a like for it that would be great. :(

If there is a AS that can run on 10.2.8 please let me know, I would be most grateful.

If you have it... uh...

Have you tried to install it and see if it works?

It sounds to me like you will have to upgrade your OS then.

10.2.8 is really old... that is what now? Two versions behind?

A lot of software these days is moving to "Tiger only" for the system requirements. I'm getting burned by that as well with some of my application upgrades.

I would also like to add, that--unlike some operating systems--usually newer version of OS X perform better than older versions, even on old hardware. However, you should check the system requirements (in the technical specifications) on Apples OS X Tiger page. Although versions before Panther are still supported by Apple, I believe (but I could be mistaken) that they are not being maintained anymore, and therefore are less secure than Panther and Tiger. This is also something you should consider if you decide not to upgrade.

Because I have OS X Panther (10.3.9) I can wait for Leopard (10.5) to come out in the late spring, early summer.
