How to make a color correction

This is a final render with AS

And this is a render with a color correction applied in Mirage

That a little more than a color correction but WOW. Nice image. Takes the hardness off the vector image alone. Zaraki Kenpachi huh?

Also you BB code isn't quite right there so the images don't show up. It should be written lke this:

With just the Image tag.

The lower image, with the soft haze to it is the Mirage corrected image. It looks to have a heavy Bloom applied. This effect is actually very common in anime, like Bleach, from which the character derives, for flashbacks and other sequences. I think he nailed it perfectly.

"WOW" is right. That character is awesome! Is it an original design? I'm not familiar with "Zaraki Kenpachi". Was it drawn in AS?

I should have clarified since I see that my mention of "Bleach" makes it sound like an image processing effect.

Bleach is a hugely popular manga in Japan that was turned into a long running animated series, still going at about 185 episodes. Zaraki Kenpachi is a recurring character in the show, whch features a very large cast.

These are some images of Kenpachi from the show:

This design was drow with curves "add point tool".

Download any image about any character and try.

This is my favourite website when I download any sketch.

When you have finished your character design, try to use Mirage or Aura-VideoPaint, to make the color correction. In Mirage im use Mediam Blur filter to apply one pass Smooth for all image, and if you like to apply any effect use Bloom filter. In Mirage you can animate all tools.

Does that bloom take a long time to render? I notice you have some pretty high values on the glow or blur options. Bloom can be pretty slow if I remember correctly.
