I know this thread has been around a lot but I thought I'd post it again maybe as a challenge as i've not seen a successful attempt at it yet.
Has anyone ever managed to make a good lead pencil style brush for AS? Is it possible?

Ok...Here's my attempt at a Pencil Brush.
I combined two sets of lines with two sets of Line widths 6 and 3.
Brush Jitter Angle - 50
Brush Spacing - 0
I Also played with the line widths, thick at the start and tapering off at the ends.
Here's a link to the brush as well.

Wooohooo!
That is great!
If you hadn't told me it was AS I would have assumed it was a scanned pencil sketch.

Thanks Heyverne. I included the .Anme in the zip file if you want to take a look. It's not perfect but close as I can get.

Actually at first glance at your post I thought you were LOOKING for a brush style that looked LIKE THAT.
I really thought it was a scan and then I saw the link and re-read the post.
It is very convincing.

It's the nose line that gives it away I think. It's kind of caligraphic. It could be improved with a bit more fiddling but thanks for the kind remarks vern.
