Those gnats you see around him are watermarks generated by the beta. After I built the model, I wasn't able to save it in the beta...
These models are very much residents of The Uncanny Valley--they are so good that they're so bad.
The solution? "Toon" them (as here).
Reallusion actually buys into Uncanny Valley real estate more than they have to, though. If you watch this sequence, you'll see that the splendid movement is marred by being over-acted--an invariable hallmark of anything from Reallusion!
(Of course, the other way to escape The Uncanny Valley is to throw incredible amounts of time, money, and talent at it:)
