Drawing pretty female characters is by far the toughest thing to get right, but this looks like it might be a specialty of yours. The body is a little wonky, but the face looks great.

She looks like she is toppling over. She will look more natural (if that is what you want!) if the torso bends back slightly.
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

thanks guys. the torso can indeed bend as she is rigged, but not really happy with her proportions. so ill have to continue tweaking. will update this file so the thread wont bulk up. thanks again for your most appreciated comments.

Draw a woman is not easy task (I gess because I've not tried it yet) but draw a female body (almost undressed) is very difficult.
For some small details on the drawing lines (the small hole in the forearm contour line) I suppouse you are drawing the body prepared to be rigged by bones. That explains some of the lines of her limbs.
I like the overal drawing. I have only one negative comment (something to correct). Her left foot should be corrected.. Mmm I don't like it. Also the pose for the corresponding knee does not match the foot position. In normal poses the foot follows the knee or viceversa. In this case the knee is mainly a 3/4 pose but the foot is a front one. They should match. Similar comment to the right leg but the foot is better achieved.
Improve her silhouette. Her waist should be smooth.
This woman deserve some corretions. She will be grateful to you.

you are indeed correct. thanks much for pointing those out.
as you can see, im also having trouble with the joints. :)
btw, if i wanted to get a nice bounce on the breast, would bones do, or is there another method for achieving this?

Whoa is it just me or did this post just become x-rated? lol. Because I thought I viewed this post yesterday and she was not naked...! Maybe OP just changed it to see if anyone would notice :D

btw, her arms... they don't bend right... and yeah bones on the boobies wouldn't look right because last time I checked they don't have bones in them in real life :D

how can i archive something similar to bones dynamics but with points? so that the breast wobbles in a natural fashion? i know in max we have "flex" to give it varying strength, but in moho, it seems ill have to do by hand. this isn't bad, just more tedious. as for the limbs, i love bones. to be honest its the one feature that attracted me to using moho for animation since i rig in 3dsmax. the influences are different in moho though since both ends scale uniformly. do you place the bone before or after the dividing line. guess its a trial n error process. will update as i go along.

PS: i realize this may not be the appropriate section to ask these questions, but seems it would be more confusing if posted on both sections as this initially started as a show-n-tell topic. may just get rid of the lines on the knees altogether. also, breasts will most likely be linked in their own layer to avoid that ugly deformation seen in this update. your input is most valuable and appreciate any you may share.

Lol. well, the human body isn't made of points either in due fairness. as far as bones, you've stated the obvious. the figure isn't intended to make pants tight, its intended to point out problematic areas. its just art like any other. sexual intercourse or sex related gestures makes it x-rated. the visual appeal is merely a side-effect. surely you've seen nude drawing before.

Look this animation done by artfx (summoning.mov). I asked him if he used bones for her breasts. He told me he used only point movement.

Please no bones

After messing with both point and bones, I found bones to be satisfactory while freeing me from key framing every other point and keeping the timeline a bit cleaner. but the tip is appreciated nonetheless. it will come in handy. http://mysite.verizon.net/gustavoguzman/sarah.mov

@Nucleus - meant to tell you that the face is really well done. I've been focusing too much on toon animals and am trying to draw more people. My results, with female faces in particular, are not so good; in fact, if woman looked like I draw them I think the species would be extinct.

The bounce is very well done and natural.
