Nearly I had written this in a "wrong" thread
And I think it's better if I'm asking you here.
The most of you are very professional people, and so I'm feeling myself very very small...
You see, things which are very easy for you, are a complete mystery for me, like close and open the eyes of a character, changing an expression in a scene, (if I'm working with png's to out a new picture instead of old) open and closing a mouth.
Simple easy things maybe, but a giant wall for me now.
I have myself to work through the 26 pages of "How do I.."
seufzer...
How about a "Kindergarten"/"elementary school" section?
In some ways the AS tutorials are a good way, but some "easy" things are not well explained in it.
There are hints, but not clear enough for a stupid like me.
Ok, so much for now.
And don't worry, I will ask more stupid and dumb questions.
How else could I learn AS?
How about a - Kindergarten/elementary school - section

The best way for a self learning is open as many other anme files other forum members share here. There are lots of them.
Play with them, look how they are done... try to do the same...
Also a good advice is read the forum from back to front. I mean read the latest post first and you'll find a gold mine there. The firsts posts have more basic questions already answered.
Many of those things are yet done /asked/replied.
Search for "eye blink" in the search area. And you'll see lots of files there.
Good luck!
