ok, here is the situation that im in:

you have switch layer containing a shark and two bone layers containing a little girl and a little boy swimming in the sea. infront of all this are some kids talking, but this has already been animated so its not important right now. to make it look like the water is overlaping the kids, i a blue sqaure around there bodys so mainly there head and arms are showing. i do this with the shark to. my aim is to make the shark eat the two children. but when you move the shark over the kids, the water goes over them, creating a really bad effect.
what do i dooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo??

To answer this problem you need to post a screenshot of your layer hierarchy and a bone setup shot. Or better the anme file. The way the shark eats the boys depends on what kind of solution have you find to integrate shark, boys and water in the same layer during the eating scene.
