I'm still stuck...
Okay, I'm still having problems with Anime Studio 5. The tutorial that came with AS 5 isn't doing much for me. SO does anyone know of a good website with a good tutorial? If anyone does please tell me. Thanks!
Which "tutorial" are you having trouble with? (there is more than one)
AS is a pretty big application with a lot of features. Is there a specific area you are looking for help with? Bones? Drawing? Layers? Masking? Effects? Shapes? Particles?
One tutorial won't cover everything. The program came with several tutorials and example files and the help files are pretty... helpful. It would also help to know which version you have, standard or pro. Some features discussed in the tutorials are not available in the standard version of AS (I think the tutorials and help files will be "fixed" in an upcoming update.)

Tutorials...
(Written before noticing heyvern's good advice...)
The tutorials included with the programme are the best I've seen. I'm a n00b too and learnt the basics through those. Other third party tutorials tend to be more technical and advanced.
My suggestion would be to go through the tutorials slowly and carefully, follow all the steps, and post any specific problems in the forums (or search for other people who had the same probs).
Remember that if you're using the basic AS, not the AS pro, there will be things in the tutorials that don't work in AS basic. (That had me stumped for a fair while!)
Thomas.

I'm mostly having trouble with making my characters move. Also, I have trouble filling color into my characters. I've hearing a lot that when the colors don't fill, there has to be an opening somewhere. But I've looked all around the outlines of my character and have seen no openings. How can I fix this problem? Another thing is that now, for some strange reason, when I fill color into my character, this big black spot appears around the selected area. I'm having more problems, but I will try and figure them out for myself for now. But can anyone tell me how to fix my problems? Thanks.
For the fills, press 'T' for translate points. Make sure the 'Auto-Weld' box is ticked. Click on each point to make sure every point is welded together. Then select the points individually, or press 'G' and select a part of the line (not a point) to highlight all the points along the line. if all the points are highlighted (RED) then you know there are no gaps. if only a few points are highlighted, you know some of the points aren't welded together.
Once you can select the line by pressing 'G' and clicking on part of the line and highlighting all points, then you can press 'U' (create shape) and hit spacebar to create the shape.
The large black blob appearing around your shape might be a huge OUTLINE.
Hit 'ENTER' to deselect anything, change the line (in the right-hand panel) to about '1' and then try and create the shape.
Alternatively, select the shape with 'Q', then check to see what kind of outline you've got in the right-hand panel. If it's, like, 20 or something, change it to '1' or so and see if that helps.
Take 2 pills and call me in the morning.
