I'm currently playing around with the trial version of Anime Studio for the Mac.
I had problems with the "Talking Head" tutorial as I couldn't locate the script "Bone Audio Wiggle". A search of this forum indicates there are issues with the script (or at least the Mac implementation) so I guess the script has been removed.
Lip-synching photos of faces is something I really want to do. Is there any other way to easily lip-synch photos using bones?
Alternative to Bone Audio Wiggle on a Mac?

You can do it using Papagayo for lip sync (it would produce the .dat file) and the lip sync using actions by Ramón López or heyvern.
Here you'll find it. I have not tested none of both scripts but people says that they work very well. In heyvern's post (you'll need to scroll down a little) there is a link to the first one created from Ramón López, use what you want.

Thanks.
Without me delving too deeply into these - will the scripts work in Anime Studio (as opposed to the Pro version)?
There doesn't appear to be an easy way to lip-sync photos of mouths with bones - Audio Bone Wiggle sounds like it might have been perfect.
I want to lip-sync photos of mouths with bones added, using an existing audio file (not sure if I made that second point clear).

If the audio file is a voice you can use the procedure I said before. If you want to move bones with music the Audio Bone Wiggle would be the solution.
Regarding to AS and AS PRO scripting capabilities I thing it is only a restriction of menu. It seems that the menu entry "Scripts" is disabled in AS. But is doesn't mind that AS cannot run the scripts that AS PRO can run. In fact all the tools are scripts. So you can always create a custom button tool that run a menu script.
The installation would be different from a menu script than to a tool script but the code would be very similar.
