Copying last Frame
Is there anyway to copy the last frame as in frame 3000 and the rest of the song into another project file? or do i have to find the exact second the song stopped and import everything into a new project and move it all into somewhat the same positions?
You have to split the song into multiple pieces.
You can't split an audio file or change where it starts in AS.
You can copy the last frame of an animation to to the first frame and do a save as on the project file to create a new project from that point. You can't copy the last frame to a new file.
If you split up your song and you have very critical timing issues you may find it difficult to stitch those pieces together afterwards.
Maybe some other people who have done long song type videos with AS have some ways for keeping everything lined up.

The time line is in frames. So it would be frames per second (fps) for what ever your project is set for.
In the Preferences you can set it to display SMTP time code. This should help you with timing based on the length of the song or audio files.
Be careful though. If you change the FPS after doing a bunch of animation to the sound file it will mess it up completely.
If you animate at 24 fps and change it to 15 fps later all of your animation will be scaled differently and won't match the sound track in AS.
You could probably fix this in another application if you need to by scaling the animation to match the sound. Otherwise you would need to scale the key frames in AS.

i need to scale? u mean like measure everything? cause idk what others have on their anime studio but mine has 2 numbers on it, the frames and another which i am not sure if its the seconds, it has a ton of frames in between them and when i look at the 3000th frame right underneath it, it says 125, is that the seconds? bout 2 mins? also my frame rate is always set to 24
If you have 3000 frames of animation at 24 fps you have 125 seconds.. about 2 minutes.
SMTP time code in the prefs changes the time display from seconds to hours:minutes:seconds. Some people find this easier to understand and sync with other time based assets like sound files. SMTP is a more... standard form of time code for this type of thing.
As far as "scaling" just ignore what i said. If you use 24 fps and are not planning to change it then forget about it.
If you do change it later you will probably be back here asking for help and then we can deal with it.
