Quicktime update

Post by moorsel »

In this forum I read about issues with Quicktime and ASP. I currently run QT 7.1.3 on WinXP SP2 and as far as I can see I don't have any issues. I noticed there is an update to 7.2. Is it save to upgrade to this QT release or would this introduce problems (the only reason I would like to upgrade is that my Vegas Movie Studio update need QT 7.1.6 or better for rendering to QT, for me this is a nice to have and not a must per se). Any advice is welcome. Thanx in advance.

Which software applications are you afraid might break?

I haven't ever experienced any problems with QT upgrades.

Hello,
I have anime studio pro 9.0 and mac book pro 10.6.8
I have a good synchronisation image / sound in anime studio
but when I export my animation in QuickTime
The sound and image get more and more out of sync .
I made a lot of of test but couldn't found any solution yet .

Apple came out with a version for Mac users called QT 10. For PC users the most recent version is QT 7 which was released in 2005 and has had minor point releases ever since. Them most recent being QuickTime 7.7 was released on August 23, 2011. Moving forward I see QT like Flash Video as formats that are in the process of dying off.
