'Average Joe: The Movie' Updates

Post by spoooze! »

Hey all,

Just letting you know that I've released an updated version of "Average Joe: Bigger, Stupider, and Unintelligent" (aka "Average Joe: The Movie").

The film is viewable here:

This edit has an interesting history behind it.
Somehow, I lost my final edit of the film. Got trashed somehow and I didn't back it up.
That means it would be impossible for me to view it or show it anywhere except on YouTube... and that's a pain.
So I had to re-edit all the animation clips from scratch (luckily I saved those!). It took me about a month to do!
This means I've also fixed the sound

This is, hands down, my favorite (so far) of the movies I've done. Who knows... there may be a sequel coming up soon!

Be sure to check out the web series that it's based on! We're still creating episodes for it's 2nd season (the first episode is already online) and they're gonna be great!

Comments are appreciated!

That was hilarious. I'm glad to see such a lengthy and completed excellent piece of work made in AS. Your story was great (and funny) and your characters were likable and rememberable. Not to be critical, but I'd say that the backrounds are a little bland. I would suggest adding more objects and some depth perception to your backrounds. Maybe even image textures. Overall a great piece of work.

P.S. Now that I've commented on yours comment on mine! :D

Glad you enjoyed it!

I'm actually making some pretty nice looking background art for my next film The 5th Floor which is due to be released in January:
