Hey Hoptoad, Not sure if you're aware as you didn't mention it. Using the 'layer transform' tool - if you hold alt and shift while moving a layer, you will notice it get smaller or bigger but then snap back to its original size. If you orbit the camera you will see what this is doing is moving the Z...

This may not apply, since we can't see your exact issue - but why not just group all layers in a parent layer and use a layer transform to move everything together?

Thanks Dennis, it seems to be working now I ran a 'preview animation' command, that worked, so i tried the button, and that also worked! It was clearly having a tantrum yesterday.
