Actually, ScreenFlow is probably the Mac equivalent of Camtasia. You can find it here http://www.telestream.net/screen-flow/overview.htm I, for years have used Snapz Pro but it really has been left behind in terms of keeping up with current technology. ScreenFlow takes advantage of the best tech tha...

Some interesting things have been said since I last posted. One thing that I have to comment on is tutorials. I am probably in the minority but I feel Toon Boom has the edge hands down. When I bought TBS I spent the first two days printing up the manuals, tutorial files, tutorials from JK of TallGra...

I own Toon Boom Studio 4.5 and ASP 5.6 and have played with the TBDP PLE and I have to say that IMO you are making a big deal out of nothing. Having the nodes and connecting them looks more complicated and more difficult than it really is. I am reminded of a friend who used After Effects and couldn'...

Well, I did see some of the free movies or SWFs that were posted here: http://graphics.smithmicro.com/article/articleview/2267/1/793 But I count only 9, does somebody have a link where all 17 were available? I watched those 9 and wanted to see all of them, hence I bought the package. And I don't reg...

Wow, I have to say I feel most of you have really missed the boat on the Rose Agent character. I bought it for the full price months ago and loved it. I took the 17 swf files and made a Quicktime movie with chapter settings highlighting how Sang did certain things. I have watched it and rewatched nu...

I don't think I missed anything. As I am learning both programs right now I think I am in a perfect position to give a qualified and detailed opinion on whether one is easier than the other. I don't get that impression with really anybody else. It seems like most took an hour and played with the dem...

Well, first let me say that I am not some kind of troll or some kind of crazed TBS user hell-bent on causing trouble. I just feel like that when somebody asks a question it behooves us to give some good answers. For example I just visited the TB website and saw that Toon Boom Studio is on sale for $...

I own both Toon Boom Studio and Anime Studio Pro and really find all of these threads on both forums to be silly. Both programs have great things going for them but one of the things that always gives me a chuckle is when people mention prices and how much better ASP has it over TBS. I paid $249 for...

One of the things that is always frustrating to me is visiting various forums and having problems with users' links. Many people just seem to jump from one storage place to the next always searching for the cheapest or one that is free. While I can understand that maybe money is tight for some but, ...

I tried your file and found that if you change the image layers blending mode to something different in Anime Studio that the artifacts disappear or are not as obvious. Color blending mode seems to work. http://homepage.mac.com/scungyho/Images/Normal.jpg http://homepage.mac.com/scungyho/Images/Color...

This is something I brought up in the feature request section. http://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9178 What I don't like about the split view or 4-view setup is how it feels so unfinished and how frustrating it is in the workflow. If you wanted to have a 4-view with a front, top, right ...

View Settings GUI...
Howdy, When using more than one view or the 4-view setting, it makes me wish for how things are set up in 3D programs. I have put together a mock interface of how I think the workflow could be better. http://homepage.mac.com/scungyho/Images/ASP_Views.jpg Each window would have a widget in the upper ...

Well, the version I have, whatever that may be, still has the various bugs, can't use the bone audio wiggle to select a sound file, etc. This build 2006929, does that mean September 29, 2006? How can that possibly have any fixes to the known bugs? I could believe a build of 20070419 (April 19, 2007?...

Vern, How exactly did you get the 5.5 Mac version? I bought from e Frontier's web store and the 5.4 version is what I continue to download regardless of what link I am given. What other places sell ASP? Is this 5.5 version available on disc only? This shouldn't be so difficult for a user to download...

No joy for me. I am using the Macintosh version and the installer installs version 5.4 not 5.5. I just downloaded the link provided by Mike and it installs the same version 5.4 for the Mac not 5.5. This is what I am seeing: http://homepage.mac.com/scungyho/Images/ASP54_a.jpg http://homepage.mac.com/...
