fixing an object to the camera
Hi everyone, I'm trying to make a drunken POV view down the barrel of a crossbow: http://i60.tinypic.com/okbhwg.jpg Now I have all the trees, background, etc. on different Z points to give a wide range of parallax, but I'd like to fix the crossbow to the camera, so it is stationary from the stand po...

Anime Studio Pro 9 crash
Hi guys, I'm working on a larger animation project and I've been rendering it out in chunks as I go along. I just tried to render out the latest chunk (frames 14763-16000) and everytime I do it the program crashes with a Visual C++ Runtime Library window saying: Runtime Error! This application has r...

Exporting settings - Compression Question
Hi everyone, I've been workign with Anime Studio Pro 9 for a bit now, but have been hitting a bit of a wall when I export files. I've tried exporting with compression but the picture quality tends to look a bit shabby. It works fine if I export as an uncompressed AVI (which I later have to recompres...

Re: Making imported sprites crisp
Dude, that worked!
Note though, you can't use Notepad (it re-writes something in the header of the file and AnimeStudio won't recognize it any more).
The value in question is "sampling_mode" and if you don't want it to be dithered, you have to set it to 0.
Thanks again!

Making imported sprites crisp
Hi everyone, I made a little short animation using a bunch of old game sprites. Now when I rendered it, they all came out looking quite blurry. http://i59.tinypic.com/66l01t.jpg http://i61.tinypic.com/o8s9i1.jpg Now I looked in the forums already and saw that there is a properties setting for import...

Inserting an animated gif, possible?
Hi everyone, I'm building a little animation using some old computer sprites as background characters and was wondering if it's possible to have animated gifs run in their own loops during an animation project or if I have to break them down and switch the frames out manually in AS? I'm using versio...
