The artwork is incredible and if the head turn occurred faster it would suffice. At that slower speed there seems to be some kind of distortion on the 3/4 views. Like a stretching and compressing.

As Danimal says, the slowness of the turn shows all the tiny distortions. However, I would say two things about that.

First, in a real scene, the head would not turn so slowly, or so far around. It would be part of a whole body, and there would most likely be some other movement with it, like expression change, eye or mouth movement, which would cover any slight distortions. If you study traditional hand drawn animation frame by frame, you can also find such distortions, which do not show at full speed, and do not detract from the acting.

Secondly, if you want perfect 3D head turns, use a 3D head! The charm, and the difference of 2D is partly to enjoy the interpretation that the eye and the brain makes of the real world, rather than slavishly tracing it. Celebrate the difference between 2d and 3d animation!

 Thank you for your reply. (Stiff) turned around and action is what I produced --- smart bones library material. I have found that intelligent bones libraries (action is longer, slower, the better). I can not use three seconds in the time line of uniform turned action, it only exists as a material. However, if the action in the timeline stretched Curry action ---- will become bad. Shortening the operation had a very long, much better. What do you think?
