Thanks for the input Danimal. That tree was supposed to have a inflate 3D effect as too, but something kept going wrong with the style (the tree trunk kept taking the leaves color).Danimal wrote:Definitely looks 3D. When the camera first moves around the building, I thought a dinosaur of some sort was back there. I guess it's actually a tree thoughThere's also some major sliding on the character's walk cycle. Looks good for a test though, make no mistake.
Trust me on this, I'm the last person to help with this. Every character I've ever made walk slid around like ice skating after first applying 12 cans of WD40 to their blades. I eventually just learned to cut the shots off at the knee, haha.eric1223 wrote:Believe it or not, there was much much much (can't emphasize enough) sliding going on, as if she was at a skate ring on the moon.
Aww come on, don't sell yourself short! Even if u have a hard time with the slideing, u are still able to point it out. With enough exp, u'll get it...just like I believe I can. And besides, you helped alot. that video helped.Danimal wrote: Trust me on this, I'm the last person to help with this.
Agree with all tips here, Esp. linear translation.sbtamu wrote:I do my walk cycles FBF if I get to much sliding.
tips
Make sure you have the translation set to linear.
Make sure both feet/legs have the same stride.
Make sure both feet/legs have the same amount of distance on the time line.
