I like the Jace character and as I've been thinking about flexible multi-use characters and the advancements in ASP I decided I'd give Jace an upgrade. So I'm working on my version of Jace 2.0 (for the geeky you may have seen Jake 2.0

Is there a non-compute intensive way to parent a bone in a parent layer from multiple bones in differing switch layers?
Here's my set up.

In the picture I purposely moved the head off of the body, but it will most typically happen when I bend the body. Because the head bone is not a child of any bone in the body layer it gets disconnected if I bend the body.
It turns out I may actually like this strange effect, because it lends itself to more organic animating and movements I can use in switching the body as described in this thread viewtopic.php?f=8&t=27737&start=15#p158818. Currently it seems really easy to manipulate.
I'm sure a script could probably do the trick, but I'm not interested in any approaches that will bog down the computer. If one exists already I'd give it a try, but the work around is so easy, I wouldn't take time to write the script myself.
Anyway I just thought someone might have an idea.
PS.
Does anyone know if it's ok for me to make my modifications available to everyone on the forum? Since I didn't originally create Jace, I didn't know if that's ok, but it's so nice that Anime Studio comes with nice charaters I'd like to give back to others if they'd like the changes.
