@Debut users, never mind...use Sketch Bones for rigging and animating the trunk...or tails or rope...it's way easier.

It's very late here now, but I couldn't wait to walk through your posts of your process, so just read it all! Thanks again for all the efforts and nice tips!

These sketch bones are indeed great! I knew about the sketch bones tool, but thought they were only there for easily sketching a chain of bones once during setup. Didn't know they also were so great during animation and make it this easy to use and automatically set keyframes while just us drawing the new pose for animating a chain! That's pretty sweet and obviously very well thought out! That's a real time saver! :D

Yeah, years ago before Sketch Bones was officially released, Mike and Victor visited our workplace and demonstrated the feature. Totally blew my mind and made me so glad we were using Moho. I wound up using Sketch Bones for every show we were working on at that time (Puss-In-Boots, All Hail King Julien, The Croods, Trolls, etc.)
